“Zarzuela Night at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja”.
The Municipal Theater hosted last Saturday the concert entitled “Night of Zarzuela”, starring the local band Torrevejense Musical Union (UMT), directed by Carlos Ramon, along with the group of soprano sisters “UnBelDí”.
The group of professional sopranos was born in 2016, is formed by the sisters Pepa, Maria and Gemma and have more than 20 years of professional experience, both nationally and internationally.
The zarzuela took place in two acts and this was the composition of each act:
First act:
- Chisperos of “La Calesera”.
- La Jota de los Ratas
- Prayer
- Fandango
- Captain Grant’s nephews
Second act:
- The Leandras
- Menegilda’s tango
- Girl who sells flowers
- Jailers
- Water, sugar and Aguardiente
At the end of the second act, the audience was very appreciative of the great performance of the works interpreted by the UnBeldí sisters, who transported us to the best zarzuelas.
