Last night at the Theater we were left breathless and with our hair standing on end by the performance of the Great Acrobatic Circus of China. The play of lights, the scenery and the costumes worn by the artists made us travel to the Chinese culture. It is a performance that has risk, strength and beauty that everyone should see.
This show is considered the only one of its kind in the world and involves more than 30 artists on stage, most of them Olympic medalists and some from Cirque du Soleil. The Great Acrobatic Circus of China tells the story of a young dreamer who enters the world of fantasy, meets the phoenix and falls in love. The phoenix takes the young man to his palace and he enters a garden where he lives several adventures in which the spectators will see singing birds, clowns, flying hats and much more… But the story does not end there.
Evil stalks the palace of fantasy in order to seize and control the phoenix. In order to save his beloved, the young man fights against evil with the clown who sacrifices himself. After the battle he wakes up in the fairy forest, desperately searches for his beloved and finds only her feather, he was heartbroken to see him. In the moment of his despair the phoenix is reborn from the fire and they meet again. The young man and his beloved lived happily.
There was deafening applause in the theater hall for the great show they put on.
