This week torrevejenses enjoy and feel the strength of urban dance, the charm of ballroom dancing, the rhythm of Latin music and the reinterpretation of pop music.
On Wednesday July 12 at 20h at the Municipal Theater, the dance school UNITY, led by Ivan Cruz who is a teacher and director of this school is known because he reached the semifinal in the famous program “Got Talent” with his dance group.
This Wednesday he will present us with his students the Unity Dance Studio Gala, in which dancers of different ages will participate. As every year, we will see different styles of urban dances and also add new choreographies that will leave us impressed in this show.
On Thursday, July 13 at 21h at the Municipal Theater the Paya’s dance school will take us to the mysterious world of Alice in Wonderland, which will tell the adventures of Alice through classical dance. It is an incredible opportunity to experience in another way this classic children’s story, which is a favorite of all children and adults.
On Friday, July 14 at 21h in the Municipal Theater Torrevejense Musical Union will give the summer concert entitled “Latin Night”, conducted by Carlos Ramon Perez, conductor of the youth symphonic band and winner of the “7th European Conductors Competition”.
In this concert we will feel the love and passion that brings us each composer from different countries, which transports us to Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil or the Caribbean, within this band repertoire we will hear the rhythm of the most characteristic dances of Latin folklore such as tango, samba, bossa nova, cumbia or danzón. We will also enjoy the most outstanding works of the best composers in the history of Latin music such as the Danzón nº2 by Arturo Márquez, the Arrullo Suite by Victoriano Valencia and many more…
Saturday, July 15 at 19:30 at the Municipal Theater. The most awaited recital Candlelight arrives, that night a string quartet will interpret the most outstanding songs of the Swedish group ABBA, they will make the fans’ emotions vibrate with the melody interpreted and will make them remember the best moments.
For MAMA MIA movie lovers, you will be able to enjoy live the most outstanding songs of the soundtracks. You won’t be able to stop singing, dancing and having fun with the songs: Dancing Queen, Money Money Money Money, Voulez-Vous and many more.
