The 72nd International Habaneras and Polyphony Festival will be held from July 19 to 25, 2025, at the iconic Torrevieja Municipal Theater. This prestigious event, which has become a long-standing tradition since its founding in 1955, will bring together choirs from around the world to compete and share the beauty of choral music.
The competition places special emphasis on the habanera, a musical genre of Cuban origin that has been adapted and popularized in Spain, characterized by its slow, nostalgic rhythm. In addition, participants will also perform polyphonic pieces, showcasing the richness and diversity of choral music with multiple independent voices.
For one week, Torrevieja will become the epicenter of international choral music, with competition and exhibition concerts that will delight attendees. The event stands out not only for its musical quality but also for its ability to bring people from different cultures together through music, strengthening cultural ties between Spain and the rest of the world.

General admission tickets will be available for purchase starting June 30, 2026, through our website or at the box office of the Torrevieja Municipal Theater. These tickets will be sold starting with row 16 during the season ticket sales period.
Regarding the cost, please note that the prices for season tickets and individual tickets this year are as follows:
- 50 € General Admission Ticket
- €25 Senior Citizen Pass
- €15 General Admission to the Opening Gala
- €7.50 Senior Citizen Ticket for the Opening Gala
- €8 General Admission from July 20 to 25, 2026
- €4 Senior Citizen Admission from July 20 to 25, 2026

REGULATIONS
- Please arrive on time. Once the event has begun, no one will be admitted to the venue.
- Shorts are not permitted.
- If you purchase a senior citizen ticket or pass, you must present your national ID card at the entrance.
- Food and drinks will not be allowed in the seating area.
- Recording without authorization is not permitted.
- Cell phones are prohibited in the orchestra section.
