Next Friday, January 17 at 20:30 pm, José Juan Vaquero, better known as J.J. Vaquero, will present his funny monologue at the Municipal Theatre of Torrevieja. Vaquero is one of the most successful monologuists of our country and the maximum representative of the rogue humor.
A native of Valladolid, the comedian has managed to carve a niche for himself in the world of comedy after some friends enrolled him in a monologue contest and he left his job as a waiter to pursue his dream.
J.J. Vaquero’s characteristic light-hearted style allows him to turn any everyday situation into pure comedy. The career of this comedian from Valladolid has led him to be a regular contributor to programs such as Comedy Central, El Hormiguero, TúNoTePierdasNada or Lo Mejor que te puede pasar de MelodíaFM. He was also in charge of writing the script for the 30th edition of the Goya Awards, along with Dani Rovira.

The male vocal group Sette Voci, composed of Antonio Martínez Prieto, Aníbal Cano, Enrique García, César Berná, Antonio Quesada, José Miguel Ros and Raúl Antón, was born in 2016 as an initiative of seven men who, after participating in numerous local productions of zarzuela, opera and musicals throughout their musical careers, consolidated as a professional group to evolve in vocal music with a fresh repertoire, with a modern spirit and musical innovation. Their show has become a sonorous gift, the result of perseverance, work and enthusiasm for making good music.

This Sunday, January 19, at 18:00 hours, the International Auditorium of Torrevieja will dress up to celebrate the XXV Sports Gala, an event that promises to be the highlight of the sports season 2023/2024. Organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Torrevieja, this event will recognize the achievements of athletes and organizations that have excelled in local sports.
In this special edition, 120 local athletes have been nominated in different categories and 12 teams, highlighting the diversity and sporting talent of Torrevieja. In addition, 3 honorable mentions and 5 special mentions will be awarded, rewarding not only the sports results, but also the effort, dedication and positive impact on the sports community.
