The International Music Bands Festival of Torrevieja celebrated its twenty-second edition this year, consolidating itself as an outstanding event in the local music scene. Organized by the musical society Ciudad de Torrevieja “Los Salerosos”, the festival took place from July 8 to 13, 2024 at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja.
In this edition, “Los Salerosos” acted as hosts, receiving several prestigious bands both nationally and internationally. The invited bands included:
- Musical Union of Membrilla (Ciudad Real, Spain)
- Hormoniorkest Mol-Rauw (Belgium)
- Insular Band of the Tenerife Federation ( Tenerife)
In addition, the festival featured the participation of the youth bands of:
- Los Salerosos Youth Band
- Youth Band of the Musical Union La Aurora, Albatera
- Youth Band of the Agrupación Musical de Beniaján, Murcia, Spain.
This event was an unforgettable experience, highlighting the talent and musical diversity of the participating bands.
With a program that ranged from performances by established bands to up-and-coming youth bands, the festival reaffirmed itself as a meeting point for culture and music in Torrevieja.
