The Auditorium welcomed 2023 with two sold-out shows

Those who had the privilege of attending some of the two concerts of “New Year – Kings”, which the Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja, gave the past 6 and 7 January, are a “blessed” because they could live in first person the magic, the illusion, the passion and joy with which “our orchestra” performed, spreading their art to an audience that left with their hands “burning” so much applause.

The Symphonic Hall of our spectacular International Auditorium, home of the OST, was filled on both days, to enjoy the performance of great works by classical masters, in a concert that reached its fifteenth edition. From the hand of its director, the recent winner of the Diego Ramirez Award, José Francisco Sánchez, the musicians of the orchestra performed famous waltzes, polkas, Spanish music and dances of different styles, in an almost two hours, we could enjoy the best classical music in which there was no lack of pieces such as “La Revoltosa” by C. Chapi, “Nabucco (overture)” by G. Verdi, “Tik-tak, polka Schnell Op.365” by J. Strauss; among others and which culminated, as is traditional, with some “jokes”, the traditional congratulation and as a finishing touch the “Radetzky March”.
From “Objetivo Torrevieja”, we congratulate the Symphony Orchestra for its trajectory and its Director José F. Sánchez, for this great Concert that as always, according to his words, is made for all of us “Your orchestra”.
