With a full theater, as usual, Paya’s Dance School represented last night on stage a musical with the masterful adaptation of Matias Anton Catalá, from the movie “Nightmare Before Christmas”. In it the Lord of Halloween, Jack Skellington, bored of doing the same thing every year, discovers Christmas in Christmas Town and is fascinated, so he decides to work hard and improve the holiday. To this end, he kidnaps Santa Claus and creates a version of Christmas totally opposite to the existing one.
More than sixty dancers danced to the rhythm of the music, adapted by David Lorenzo and with the live voice of Lucía España and Xian Knowles, with the teachers Brando Vicente, Marta Martínez, Matías Antón, Macu and Melani Payá and Mireya Fernández.
The audience, many of them relatives of the students of the school, were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of all of them, when performing a show of such magnitude, which earned them a tremendous gala ovation.
