Greta, Magda, and Loli are three friends who, now in their fifties, feel invisible to the world. That’s why, on the fifteenth of every month, they decide to meet in one of their attics—away from their children and husbands—to talk about the things they always keep to themselves out of social convention. Under the guise of a fictional Baroque Book Club, the three friends give free rein to their sharp tongues to talk openly, in a safe space, about how they feel in their day-to-day lives.
The secrets of these gatherings are in jeopardy with the arrival that night of Caye, Magda’s daughter, who would not approve of what these women are doing in their fictional literary club.
The web of lies that unfolds to hide the truth leads the friends to come up with the wildest excuses to get rid of the young woman. How long will they be able to keep their secrets safe?
