Johan de Meij returns to Torrevieja 17 years after helping the orchestra win its historic silver medal in Kerkrade in 2009, this time as a guest conductor. Under the baton of the Dutch maestro, we will hear *Los libros olvidados* (The Forgotten Books), one of his latest works, inspired by Carlos Ruiz Zafón’s *The Shadow of the Wind*.
In addition, we will witness the world premiere of *Canticles*, a concerto for tuba and band in which Samuel Hernández Imbernón, a native of Torrevieja, will perform as soloist.
