Alfi and Fideo are lifelong friends, but they couldn’t be more different:
Alfi is a publicist, separated and with a son he barely sees, who shies away from any affective commitment, except for Alexa… his smart home.
Fideo, on the other hand, is a psychiatrist who is very conservative in his habits and affections, married for more than 25 years to his first girlfriend. One night, shortly after separating from his wife, Fideo goes to see Alfi in search of comfort. Alfi, to help him in his own way, obviously, puts together a plan to introduce him to women who will take him away from his melancholy and depression, which Fideo reluctantly accepts.
In this way, four real women and a virtual one, through their particular perceptions of life and love, will make them discover the central place that women -the feminine- have had in their lives.
Immature, besides being funny, questions us and makes us think about the new and varied ways of relating to each other. Especially two people as different as Alfi and Fideo, who are still absurdly immature. Of course, theirs is a different kind of immaturity, the immaturity of two men who have passed 50 and who, due to life’s twists and turns, will be surprised beyond imagination and will discover, at the end of it all, the true strength of friendship.
