The Municipal Theatre hosts a first class programming this weekend. Three incredible shows that will make the public torrevejense feel the magic, the soul of Valle Inclán and have fun in a classic zarzuela in a weekend full of culture.
We begin on Friday, at 7:00 pm, with the Magician Yunke and his latest magic show “Origen”. The Magician Yunke that many Spaniards have begun to know as a result of his constant appearances on television programs such as “Por Arte de Magia” and “El Hormiguero”, and who has been awarded as one of the best magicians worldwide, will appear in the theater to surprise us with his tricks and great illusions that will make the public spend a unique experience, even get excited experiencing new sensations and remembering when they were little. A first class show for the whole family.
On Saturday, at 7:00 pm, we will have with us the actor and playwright Rafael Álvarez, better known as El Brujo, to delight us with his play El Alma de Valle Inclán. During his confinement, El Brujo was inspired by this singular man of vibrant life to create this play. He tells us how it relieved his melancholy and cured him of the circumstances we were living through. In the words of El Brujo: “Valle Inclán is mysterious and extravagant, romantic and aesthetic. His soul moves me.”
Culture Torrevieja closes the weekend with The Court of Pharaoh. A classic lyric play, performed by the Compañía Lírica Alicantina which will take place on Sunday at 19:00 hours. A musical comedy, funny, spicy and exciting, which mixes elements of operetta, zarzuela, revue and even couplé and has been made into a film on several occasions, which is sure to please all audiences.
