A staging that will transport the audience to the distant Middle East. All impregnated and invaded by the aroma of a mystical and exuberant tale. A show with the purest musical language that will surprise the audience with unexpected numbers.
An incredible bet arrives at the Municipal Theater that will surprise us with more than 50 costumes and 250 complements, we will be able to see on stage costumes with all luxury of details like those of Princess Jasmine, the Sultan, the Vizier, Aladdin dressed as a prince or even the Genie who will dress up as a Gala for some numbers.
Throughout the performance, the spectator will experience long journeys through the musical numbers: life in the palace, the bustle of the bazaar, the number of the magical costumes that the Genie makes Aladdin dance, the love ballad on the carpet…. But above all the numbers starring the genie stand out, as this character allows us to create a show of sequins, lights and tap dancing in the purest Broadway style.
It has been awarded Best Children’s Musical and Best New Actress (Erika Bleda) by the Musical Theater Awards 2015. And, on the other hand, in the BroadwayWorld Spain of the same season, it won the awards for Best Costumes (Joan Miquel Reig), Best Set Design (Luis Crespo), Best Choreography (Pachi G. Fenollar), Best Leading Actress (Erika Bleda) and Best Lighting (Juanjo Llorens).
