Official start of the Carnival with the opening speech by Susi Caramelo, comedian, actress and presenter, one of the most recognizable and transgressive voices of the current scene. With a solid career in television, theater and stand-up, Susi has stood out for her irreverent style and her ability to connect with the public from the most acid and close humor. She has participated in very successful programs and has toured stages all over Spain with her shows, becoming a referent of humor without filters and with her own personality.
After the proclamation, will proceed to the imposition of the Gold Shield 2026, one of the most emblematic acts of the festivities.
The day will close with the screening of the documentary “Carnival of Torrevieja 2026”, an audiovisual tour of the essence, history and emotion of this celebration so rooted in the city.
