Orquesta Sinfónica de Torrevieja: Mozart and great Spanish Classics
On Saturday, May 17 at 19:00, the Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja returns to the International Auditorium with a concert that fuses the drama of Vienna with the energy of Spanish music. In the first part, the public will enjoy the Piano Concerto No. 20 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most intense and emotionally complex works of the Austrian composer’s repertoire, a symbol of late classicism and admired for its depth and expressiveness.
In the second part, the orchestra, by public acclaim, will offer a vibrant selection of emblematic pieces of Spanish classical music, in a celebration of the talent and sonorous character of our country. Shani Ormiston presents “Vital”.
On Saturday, May 17 at 20:00 pm, the Municipal Theatre of Torrevieja will host the expected concert of the singer and songwriter Shani Ormiston Torrevieja, who will present his new EP entitled “Vital”. This show is shaping up to be a unique experience where present and past come together: the songs of his latest work will coexist with a selection of his most emblematic songs, composed over a solid career of 15 years.
Recognized for her talent within the independent music circuit, both in Spain and the United States, Shani has been finalist and awarded in competitions such as the “Hollywood Music Awards”, the “Premios Diputación de Alicante” and the “Global Music Awards”. In addition, in 2012 she was awarded as best singer of the Costa Blanca at the “Coastrider Music Awards” and had the honor of representing Spain at the prestigious “Biella Cantautore” Festival in Italy.
