The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja presents an extraordinary concert on May 11 at 12:00 pm at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja where virtuosity and emotion are intertwined in a program of great musical richness.
In the first part, the audience will enjoy Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf“s Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra, performed by Adrián Martínez, a talented member of the orchestra. Next, Ludwig van Beethoven” s emblematic Symphony No. 5 will fill the theater with its unparalleled power and unforgettable opening motif, a work that has transcended generations and continues to move listeners.
In the second part, the orchestra will tackle a special premiere: Magallane’s Expedition, a work by conductor Adolfo Arronis that evokes the greatness of Ferdinand Magellan’s first voyage around the world. A score full of adventure and emotion that will transport the audience through unknown seas and historical feats.
