Event organized by the Francisco Vallejos Choir, sponsored by the Municipal Habaneras Board and the Municipal Institute of Culture of the City Council of Torrevieja
You’ll be able to enjoy choral singing in a wide variety of musical styles.
This edition will bring together prominent ensembles from different parts of Spain and Europe for two days dedicated to choral music, this time at the Torrevieja International Auditorium.
The Opening Gala, on Friday, the 25th, at 8:00 p.m., will feature the Francisco Vallejos Choir and the “Cecilio Gallego” Plucked String Orchestra, both from Torrevieja, along with the Orfeón Cantábile of Alicante.
On Saturday, the 26th, at 11:00 a.m., a Choral Forum open to the public will take place, while the Closing Gala, at 7:00 p.m., will bring the event to a close with performances by A Cau d’Orella – Cor de Dones, from Valencia; Hots Abesbatza, from Oñati (Gipuzkoa); and Sound Choir Bucharest, from Romania.
Another celebration of Torrevieja’s choral tradition, which, once again this year, transforms the city into a meeting place for voices, cultures, and different ways of understanding and sharing music.
