The International Auditorium of Torrevieja, was filled yesterday afternoon, to attend a pre-Christmas concert, which did not want to miss the mayor of the city, Eduardo Dolon, along with several councilors of the municipal corporation, the president of the OST, Mamem Mateo and numerous people from the world of culture in the city. The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja, under the direction of Adolfo Arronis, started off solo, to warm up the atmosphere and give way to the group “Sette Voci”. “Sette Vociformed by Antonio Martínez, baritone; Aníbal Cano, baritone; Adrián Narejos, tenor; José A. Quesada, first tenor; Raúl J. Antón, light tenor; César Berná, second tenor; and José Miguel Ros, first tenor, who offered the following pieces “Joy to the world”, “O nata lux”, “El Tambolirero” and “Heal the world”.
The Orchestra took the lead again, interpreting the “Shostakovich Waltz” and the “Egyptian March”, joining again “Sette Voci”, with “Silent Night”, “Beyond”, “Angels in the arms” and “You rise me up”. La JOST, again put the joy with “Sad Waltz” and “Tristch trastch polka”, to receive in the last part of the concert the components of “Sette Voci”, who delighted us with“Color esperanza“, “The prayer“, “Oh happy day” and “Feliz navidad”. who delighted us with “Color esperanza”, “The prayer”, “Oh happy day” and “Feliz navidad”.
To the rapturous applause of the audience they offered the encore “Heal the world”, amidst a round of applause that rewarded a performance that puts us fully into Christmas.
To highlight the magnificent performance of the singer, Evangelina Sanchez who joined “Sette Voci” in the interpretation of “Angels in the arms”.
