On April 12 at 20:30 pm, the International Auditorium of Torrevieja will receive Rafa Sanchez, the legendary voice of La Union, as part of his new tour “Biography”. A show full of energy, nostalgia and of course, a lot of music that will make the audience vibrate with his hits. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2020, after 36 years of career with the group La Uni\u00f3n, Rafa S\u00e1nchez announced the dissolution of the band, closing a key chapter in the history of Spanish pop. However, Rafa has decided to move forward with his solo career, keeping his unmistakable style alive. <\/span><\/p>\n

With his album “Solo para adultos” (Only for Adults) and the tours <\/span>Hombre Lobo Tour <\/span><\/i>y<\/span> Vampiros<\/span><\/i>Rafa has demonstrated that his essence is still intact. <\/span>Biography<\/span><\/i> is the continuation of this path, where the artist mixes his legacy with new influences, betting on electronic and techno sounds without losing his identity. Tracks like “V\u00edstete princesa” or “Vampiros” reflect this evolution without moving away from the sound that conquered several generations. <\/span><\/p>\n

It will be a chronological journey through the most iconic songs of La Uni\u00f3n, illustrated by his experiences during the thirty-six years that the band was in existence; how a neighborhood boy studying architecture, overnight becomes an idol of teenagers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Biography<\/span><\/i> is an audiovisual show that aims to bring the most human figure, more endearing and even anecdotal with its lights and shadows of someone who for a generation has been a reference and his music, the soundtrack of his life, a show of one hour 50 minutes in which his comments not only contextualize the moment, also the songs provide a biographical view of his person.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the presence of Ferm\u00edn Villaescusa, former keyboardist of La Uni\u00f3n, in the composition and performance of their new music reinforces the connection between their past and their artistic present. This, in addition to recalling songs such as “Lobo Hombre en Par\u00eds”, “Sildavia”, “Maracaibo”, “M\u00e1s y M\u00e1s” and “Vivir al Este del Ed\u00e9n”, is making the tour a success, with a devoted audience that sings the great classics but also celebrates the artist’s renewal. <\/span><\/p>\n
