The cultural agenda this month has been full and will end in style this week with great shows like Diana Navarro, Angel Martin and his monologue, “Lily: A tale of Torrevieja”, the Gala of Disability and “The Salt of Torrevieja”.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lily’s story<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next Thursday, November 28 at 20:00 pm at the Municipal Theater will be presented “Lily: a tale of Torrevieja”, a story where a young chana girl arrives in Torrevieja and finds work in a puppet theater with the Wolf and the Ogre. While the Wolf falls in love with her, the girl is attracted to Ariel, a Cuban guitarist who plays on the promenade and represents the essence of the habanera “Torrevieja” by Ricardo Lafuente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ariel, although captivated by everything that reminds him of Cuba, lives with the sadness of knowing that his life is no longer what it used to be. Despite being engaged to Serafina, a girl from the village, Ariel finds himself wrapped up in Lily’s beauty and charm, while Serafina has constant and funny disputes with the beautiful Lola. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lily, now known as Lil\u00ed by the locals, faces a challenge when bad news arrives, but soon discovers that there is no place like Torrevieja to live and dream, surrounded by the affection and solidarity of its people. Don’t miss it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

#SUPERCAPACES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, on Friday, November 29 at 8:00 pm, the Theater will host the Disability 2024 #SUPERCAPACES Gala, an event celebrating inclusion, diversity and talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gala will feature the special participation of Juan Manuel Montilla, “El Langui”, renowned actor, rapper and advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. His charisma and inspiring message will make this evening a unique experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized in collaboration with the ALPE and APANEE foundations, this gala seeks to raise awareness and give visibility to the abilities of all people, promoting a message of equality and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be a must-attend event for those who believe in a more inclusive and supportive world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Piquer to Navarro<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next Saturday, November 30 at 8:30 p.m. at the Municipal Theater, the great Diana Navarro, faithful defender of musical traditions, invites us on a sonorous journey from the simplicity of the piano to the most surprising fusion in which she demonstrates, once again, that the copla is timeless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her resounding success as an actress representing Do\u00f1a Concha Piquer at the Teatro Espa\u00f1ol in Madrid, the Malaga-born actress wanted to pay tribute to Piquer and the genre she represented by recreating her most emblematic songs, as well as others not so popular, so that new generations can know and have as a reference to this woman who, among the many achievements of her career, was, at only 14 years old, the first Spanish actress to perform on Broadway and the first actress of sound films in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event promises a unique festive experience, where music and humor intertwine to offer an unforgettable night. With dazzling costumes, energetic choreographies and an unmatched spirit, the comparsa will make you laugh and enjoy yourself in an atmosphere of pure fun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1ngel Martin: Point for the crazy ones<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To end the week, on the same Sunday but at 8:00 p.m. at the International Auditorium, Angel Martin will present his show “Punto para los locos, a monologue that more than just touching on self-help issues, is a help and a vindication of the importance of mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist will try to make you realize that the only thing that differentiates us is not whether or not you are crazy, but at what volume the voice of shame, fear, anxiety, impatience are in your head; and he will try that, the next time one of those voices comes back, you can’t help but make fun of it and put on the scoreboard another “point for the crazy ones”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Catalan writer and comedian speaks in this function from his own experience. He suffered a psychotic break in 2017 and, with that experience as a lesson, he has written the books ‘Por si las voces vuelven’ and ‘Detr\u00e1s del ruido’, which he has just released this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show ‘Punto para los locos’ is yet another tool for this author who tries to launch his message without ever forgetting the importance of humor and laughing at oneself. \u00c1ngel Mart\u00edn rose to fame as host of the comedy show ‘S\u00e9 lo que hicisteis…’, which also earned him numerous awards, including the TP de Oro and the Spanish Television Academy Award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also worked in ‘Noche sin tregua’, ‘En el aire’ and ‘Wifileaks’, among many others. In recent years, he has focused his activity on social networks and has achieved great repercussion with his quick morning reviews of the daily news.
