The first appointment with the culture of this week will be the night of Thursday, October 24 at 20:00 hours, where “Tosca” by Puccini, one of the most famous operas in history will be premiered at the Municipal Theatre of Torrevieja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Tosca” is a tragic opera in three acts by the acclaimed Giacomo Puccini that tells the gripping story of singer Floria Tosca, her lover Mario Cavaradossi, and the evil police chief, Baron Scarpia. Set in Rome during the Napoleonic Wars, the plot unfolds as Tosca is caught in a web of political and personal intrigue, facing difficult decisions as she tries to protect her beloved Mario and save him from Scarpia’s clutches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This story, first premiered in 1900, is an intense mix of love, betrayal, and sacrifice, with a dramatic denouement that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats and should not be missed if you like this kind of show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faemino and Cansado, reloaded<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend begins on Friday with the great comedians Faemino y Cansado, with their show “17 Veces Recargadas” at the International Auditorium at 8:30 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don’t know their story, \u00c1ngel Javier Pozuelo and Juan Carlos Arroyo lived in anonymity until they took off their names, changed their surnames and called themselves Javier Cansado and Carlos Faemino. Then the story began to sound like a joke and “Faemino and Cansado” appeared on the scene, two tireless stage performers for nearly three decades. Which are not few “to have always started losing”, as they say. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From El Retiro Park to television, passing through the stages of bars and theaters, Faemino and Cansado are one of those comic duos that have filled humor in Spain with dancing and laughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They say that 17 times is their most groundbreaking show, but they also say that they continue to laugh at life and its daily routine, at its absurdities and those of life as well.
