With their songs, “Los Panchos” invited the audience to embrace each other and get romantic, remembering songs such as Rayito de Luna”, “Caminemos”, “Piel canela”, “Alma, corazón y vida”, and a long list of songs that made us look at the past with more hope than nostalgia, which provoked several minutes of applause in their farewell.

Mocedades on stage

It didn’t take long for Mocedades to come on stage, so that after the usual greetings, they played songs as beloved as “Secretaria”, “Desde que tú te has ido”, “Charango”, “Dónde estás corazón”, and so many other compositions that are part of the soundtrack of parents, grandparents and neighbors. Of course, all of them drew applause, but none did it as well as the appearance of Izaskun Uranga on stage, the only member of the original line-up that is still touring and whom her fellow musicians call the flag and rudder of the group.

From that moment until the end of the show Mocedades had time to perform what may be one of the best adaptations of Queen’s “Somebody to love” and to pay tribute to Juan Carlos Calderón, who composed so many songs for them, such as “La otra España”.

Mocedades is that group that brings together the classic look of a world that bears little resemblance to today’s world, and that wanted to say goodbye with their most emblematic songs such as “Amor de hombre”, “Tómame o déjame, “El vendedor” or “Eres tú”, second classified in the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest.
