SUMMARY:Casanovas Flute Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:THE GOLDEN CENTURY OF THE FLUTE is a program focused on the 18th century\, considered the golden century of the flute due to the great number of great composers who composed famous works for this instrument. Among others: Vivaldi\, Telemann\, Bach\, Haendel\, Haydn and Mozart.  \nThe Casanovas Flute Orchestra\, a group founded by Juan Francisco Cayuelas Grao and José Francisco Sánchez Sánchez Sánchez\, which aims to highlight the Maestro’s favorite instrument\, will perform a wonderful repertoire that will include both pieces specially written for solo flute with the accompaniment adapted to this unique orchestra\, as well as transcriptions of well-known works from the Baroque and Classical periods that will delight the audience. \nIt should be noted that the Casanovas Flute Orchestra is one of the largest flute orchestras in Spain\, and has important teachers and soloists of this instrument\, as well as being complemented by bass clarinet\, bassoon\, cello\, double bass\, percussion and piano.

DESCRIPTION:*A View from the Bridge*\, by Arthur Miller\, is a tragedy that explores the emotional and social tensions within an Italian-American community in Brooklyn (New York) during the 1950s. The play centers on Eddie Carbone\, a dockworker who lives with his wife Beatrice and his wife’s niece\, Catherine. The arrival of two illegal immigrants\, Marco and Rodolfo\, sets off a series of conflicts that reveal Eddie’s hidden passions and contradictions.   \nEddie\, who is initially protective of Catherine\, develops an obsession with her that leads him to question the intentions of Rodolfo\, who begins a romance with the young woman. As jealousy and mistrust grow\, Eddie makes decisions that bring him into conflict with his community and his own sense of morality. The play culminates in a tragedy that highlights the complexities of desire\, loyalty\, and justice.   \nThe play addresses themes such as the tragic consequences of forbidden desire\, illegal immigration\, the American Dream\, and family dynamics\, while reflecting on the boundaries between duty and desire. With an intense dramatic narrative and deeply human characters\, *Panorama from the Bridge* remains an iconic work of contemporary theater. With fast-paced\, hard-hitting dialogue\, dramatic intensity\, and profound humanity.   \nOur version slightly reduces the number of characters\, bringing it down to NINE with EIGHT ACTORS. \nWe focus on Eddie’s central conflict: his strained relationship (he has lost desire) with his wife Beatrice\, with Catherine\, and with Rodolfo. But to this we must add the brutal confrontation with Marco\, Rodolfo’s older brother. Contributing to the tragedy are the lawyer Alfieri (a sort of omniscient narrator who knows everything)\, the immigration officer\, and the chorus of neighbors\, who go from admiring Eddie to abandoning and criticizing him when he accuses the Italians before immigration authorities. In our version\, we emphasize the passionate drama and the irrational behavior driven by desire\, just as Miller portrays it.
